Data Scientist
Position Overview:
This is a challenging opportunity for a Data Scientist with our direct client. We are looking for someone with an innovative personality, who is a strong collaborator, and is capable of delivering exceptional results in a competitive environment. As a Data Scientist, you will use your foundational knowledge of classical and deep learning large language models. You will help deliver projects in production and build chat and conversational agents. You will use your strong critical thinking skills to ensure that the systems are performing optimally. You believe in effective communication, and you will have opportunities to address potential challenges and provide solutions to complex issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Hands-on experience in fine tuning and prompt engineering with LLM (large language models)
• An understanding of foundational concepts behind LLM
• Capable of delivering at least one project in production with LLM knowledge of GPU computing (GPU acceleration and framework for parallel executions will be a plus)
• Experience in building chat and conversational agents
• Hands-on experience in classical and deep learning language models
• Foundational knowledge of statistics, classical machine learning, and supervised and unsupervised algorithms
• Ability to define problem statements and plan of execution for data science projects
• Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to translate analytic ideas into code using production-quality Python code
• Knowledge of cloud computing
• Candidates will have exposure to customers / partners / executives in SAI/CAI
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of data science experience
• Exposure to Generative AI
• Awareness of Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback
• Should be able to work independently with minimal direction
